In the wedding ring warming ceremony, the couples wedding rings are passed amongst the attending guests or just the wedding party, in a pouch or significant container. This ceremony option involves the mothers of the couple. They are called upon to join the bride and groom prior to the vows. This will be significant to the first kiss that they gave their children as they came into the world and they will give their last kiss to their child as a single individual before sending them on their new journey into married life.

The guests at the ceremony are invited to turn to the guest next to them and unite with a sign of peace and seal it with a hug, just like the bride and groom will do. This will allow the guests to unite and feel welcomed as friends and family to the bride and the groom. This will be introduced after the bride and groom shake and hug and share the love.

The couple will bring along the items of their choice and souvenirs of their day of unity to put into a time capsule and close it in front of family and friends. They will perhaps set a date on which the capsule will be re-opened, eg. Anniversary. The couple can also ask if any of the guests would like to add any of their written happy wishes or souvenirs of their day into the capsule
